Welcome to RSSA!
Renbrook School Summer Adventure is a day camp open to children age 3 through Grade 9. We offer a robust Counselor in Training Program for eleventh and twelfth-grade students.
Our staff demonstrates maturity, personal integrity, and sensitivity to the needs of your children. We maintain a low camper to staff ratio to ensure the best possible experience. We have carefully developed our programs for each age group that envelops your child's growth and needs at different stages of their development.

Dear Renbrook School Summer Adventure Families,
I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new Camp Director of Renbrook School Summer Adventure.
As both a parent and an employee of RSSA, I’ve seen firsthand how camp ignites a sense of joy and adventure in campers, creating sum
mer memories that last a lifetime. As a mom to four RSSA alums, current campers, and counselors, our home is filled with woodworking projects, pottery pieces, and stories of bull's eyes on the archery course. Now, as Camp Director, I’m excited to help create these same experiences for your children.
Camp preparations are in full swing, and our team is hard at work ensuring that Summer 2025 will be full of fun, growth, and adventure. I can’t wait to share this journey with all of you, and I look forward to welcoming both new and returning campers to another unforgettable RSSA summer.
Open registration for the 2025 season begins Monday, November 4 at 9am. Our exciting program offerings like swimming lessons, rocketry, high and low ropes, archery, woodworking, ceramics, and so much more are coming your way.
For families with rising 1st-4th graders, please visit the RSSA website to learn more about our new Academic Adventure program. Focused on math and literacy enrichment, Academic Adventure will give campers an opportunity to engage with experienced educators in a structured classroom setting for one hour each day, four mornings a week. The program will run in concert with the camp day and can be selected during the online camp registration process.

Astrid Schnabel ’20 attended Renbrook for seventh and eighth grades and graduated from Conard High School. She is a rising sophomore at the University of Connecticut pursuing a degree in Psychology and Deaf Studies. As a member of the Red Cross Club at UCONN, Astrid loved the work she did this past school year and knew she wanted to do more to help after the semester ended. A Full Circle Moment at Renbrook! We were honored to welcome Connecticut Attorney General William Tong as our 2025 Graduation speaker!
Mr. Tong, a proud member of the Renbrook Class of 1988, shared his journey from Renbrook to Phillips Academy Andover, Brown University, and the University of Chicago Law School—culminating in his role as Connecticut’s 25th Attorney General and the first Asian American elected in our state. As Attorney General, his top priority is to protect Connecticut families, residents, and consumers, and to stand up to powerful forces that threaten us. He asked the graduates to recognize those who have guided and helped them, and to pay that generosity forward.
