High school-aged alumni met with graduating 8th graders during the last week of school to share their experiences in secondary school. From the best ways to become part of the community as a day student at a boarding school to how to manage the workload in high school, the Class of 2025’s excellent questions were met with insightful, honest perspectives from their (now) fellow alums! 🎉 Renbrook Celebrates Acacia Nickeo ’23 🎉
Renbrook School is proud to celebrate the achievements of Acacia Nickeo ’23, now a rising Junior at The Williston Northampton School, where her exceptional talent and dedication have been widely recognized.
Acacia was recently honored with two major arts awards:
🎨 The 3D Art Award
🏆 The Working Artist Award
What makes this accomplishment even more extraordinary is that Acacia is not currently enrolled in any arts classes. Instead, she devotes her after-school hours and free time to creating in the studio. According to the Williston Performing Arts Department:
“This student has great fundamental throwing skills on the wheel and has also tried her hand at hand-building… she seeks to refine her skills, experiment with new forms, and explore techniques with glaze combos and motifs. She shows great promise in the Visual Arts world.”
In addition to her artistic excellence, Acacia was also awarded the Edward M. Lawton, Jr. Prize for History, recognizing her superior work in the History and Global Studies Department.
At Renbrook, we nurture curiosity, creativity, and character. Acacia exemplifies all three, and we couldn’t be prouder of her continued growth and accomplishments.
