Welcome back!

Renbrook school alumni

We hope you'll return to Renbrook soon to see what’s new, catch up with your favorite teachers, attend an event, or just to stop by to say “Hello.”

There are so many ways--both formal and informal--that alumni may participate in the life of the school. If you'd like to reconnect with Renbrook, consider volunteering on your reunion planning committee or as a reunion giving chair. Regardless of how involved you want or are able to be, please stay in touch! We'd love to keep you "in the know" about Renbrook’s goals and accomplishments, and we really want to hear your ideas, interests, and concerns. The strength of Renbrook depends on your involvement.

Next up, we have a selection of beautiful wines from the wine cellar of Renbrook Grandparents, Beth and Joe Lowery. Cellared in their famed caved cellars, the 2001 Far Niente offers aromas of huckleberry, dark cocoa, and chocolate complemented by a touch of vanilla in the nose. Upon entry, this Cabernet is soft and lush, with a dense mid-palate. Flavors of boysenberry and black fruits are supported by tannins that are chewy, yet smooth and lingering. There is a very long finish to this wine. A famous dessert wine (“liquid gold from the Napa Valley”) with a gorgeous to-be-saved bottle, the 2013 Dolce offers lifted and youthful aromas of orange zest, vanilla bean, and butterscotch with subtle notes of minerality and oak-derived spices. The entry is juicy, and Dolce’s signature texture is lively and enduring on the palate leading to a mouthwatering finish. Flavors of orange, pear, and dried apricot mingle together with rich caramel notes and hints of minerals that make this vintage a delicious expression of the season’s exceptional ripeness. Bid on these amazing wine selections, other unique items, and one-of-a-kind experiences at (link in bio). Auction closes tomorrow (Thurs, Feb 22) at 10 p.m.! #celebraterenbrook
Next up, we have two featured Online Auction items, both prime parking spots on campus: Big Rock and Foley Family Lot! Situated in the Visitors Parking Area near the Big Rock and at the base of the stairs to the Courtyard, Big Rock is THE best parking spot on campus for Upper and Lower School families! No circling the drive and no parking down near the field or on the steep drive up for this lucky winner! For Beginning School families, parking is QUICK and EASY with your very own personal parking space in the Foley Family Parking Lot. Avoid the “circle” at morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up! Just pull into your personal parking spot, and a member of Renbrook’s faculty or staff will escort your child(ren) directly to your car—open-door service included! These lucky winners will enjoy their personal parking spots for the entire 2024-2025 school year - all day, every day, and for all campus events too! Snag one of the spots now and know your parking space is guaranteed for Fall Fest, Morning Meetings, Parent Coffees, the musical, and every other day of the year! These featured items are especially designed to delight and excite our Beginning School students. Do you have a little who would jump at the chance for a playdate with their friends hosted by Ms. Paul? How about story time with Mrs. Ellef and Mrs. Montalvo at the West Hartford Library, followed by ice cream at Ben & Jerry’s? And how much fun would it be for your child and 5 friends to be babysat by Ms. Blenman and Ms. Ettienne-Modeste while you and your friends enjoy an evening out? These cool experiences and many more can be yours if you are the highest bidder! Check out the Online Auction and place your bids now at (link in bio). #celebraterenbrook
