Mission and Vision

Our Mission

Fueled by a tradition of innovation, self-discovery, and the pursuit of excellence, Renbrook School places students at the center of their learning. We educate and inspire students to develop the character, knowledge, and creativity to lead in an increasingly global and inclusive world. In a nurturing community, Renbrook students gain the skills and dispositions of engaged, life-long learners.

Value Statement

Renbrook School prizes respect, integrity, empathy, tenacity, and service to others. We believe in the power of a supportive community to effectively instill these values in our students.

Vision of a Renbrook Graduate

As the result of a series of faculty and staff meetings in the fall of 2016 designed to identify attributes that we at Renbrook School aspired for our graduates to possess, this list was created. The second part of the exercise then was to begin to brainstorm unique and effective ways that the adult leaders here at the school could shape the culture within the school to intentionally develop these attributes in students at all grade levels. Each teacher heard the ideas of their colleagues and committed to actualizing the best of those ideas in ways that would be appropriate at each grade level in each discipline.

These ten attributes represent our ideal for a Renbrook student. In our community students strive to achieve this ideal with guidance from their teachers and parents. Their journey to improve is what we feel is most important.
