Student Support Services

Renbrook is deeply committed to supporting the academic progress of all students including those with neurodivergent learning profiles. Through a team approach, Student Support Services (SSS) interventionists work with students, teachers, and families to understand the child’s learning profile, develop a Formal Accommodation Plan, and implement recommendations, modifications, and accommodations.

Renbrook’s SSS interventionists provide support inside classrooms and through individual or small group pull-out sessions. Three full-time professionals who have formal training and expertise in working with neurodivergent students work in the SSS department. Additionally, the department includes two social workers who serve as school counselors providing consultation, short term counseling, crisis triage services, and social emotional programming for Beginning, Lower, and Upper School students, families, and teachers.
