Linda Wood grew up in New Cannon and attended UConn and earned a bachelor’s degree in English and the University of Bridgeport where she earned a master’s in education.
Linda began her teaching career in 1990 and taught preschool, middle school language arts and drama, and high school English prior to joining Renbrook School in 2019 as a Student Support Services (SSS) interventionist and then becoming the coordinator of the department.Linda notes that working with young learners, supporting their growth and bolstering their confidence makes each day meaningful and joyful for her. When not at school, Linda likes to spend time walking, hiking, swimming, reading, boating, biking and exploring. She loves spending time with her four children, Riley, Caitlin, Patrick, Molly, and husband, Peter.
