Jessica Anastasio

Learning Specialist

University of Saint Joseph - M.A., Central Connecticut State University - B.A.

Jessica Anastasio grew up in Hamden, CT and attended Central Connecticut University where she earned a bachelor’s in psychology and the University of Saint Joseph’s for a master’s in special education. Jessica was a competitive figure skater and became a coach for that sport in 1995. She then became a teacher because she loved working with children and came to believe that all children can succeed and deserve every opportunity to work toward their dreams. It is her goal to instill positive and productive work habits and inspire her students to work hard, face challenges head-on, and believe in themselves.

Jessica has worked with students in preschool through grade 8 and began working at Renbrook in 2022. When not at school, Jessica enjoys skating, running, listening to podcasts, reading books, and participating in service work. She also loves spending time with her boys, Hunter and Gavin, and husband, Jeffrey, hiking, skiing, playing board games, swimming, cooking, and golfing.
