Life at the Pool

Pool at Renbrook School Summer

Our Camp Programs are immense in offerings and experiences! There is something for everyone. Outdoors and indoors, athletic and artistic, academic, and just pure fun! Take a look at just a small sample of all of the adventures to be had at RSSA. These programs are already included in the camper's daily schedules based on their divisions so there is no need to choose ahead of time.

The RSSA Swim Program

The swim program is an important part of the Renbrook School Summer Adventure experience. It is directed by American Red Cross Water Safety instructors who implement the American Red Cross (ARC) Learn to Swim Program.

All campers will receive a swimming progress report during each session, and ARC certificates will be awarded to those who complete the requirements.

Instruction is organized with an approximate class ratio of 1:4 lifeguard to camper. Each camper will be evaluated on the first day of each session to ensure proper class placement. Pool rules are strictly enforced to ensure the safety of all campers.

A daily swim lesson is scheduled for each camper through grade six and camper participation is encouraged. Each day campers participate in "free swim" which is carefully supervised. This is where campers may practice their skills or enjoy water activities with their friends.

Happy Camper at Renbrook School Summer Adventure Pool

We have 3 pools of varying depths:

- The Beginner Pool - 3.5 feet
- The Learning Pool - 4.5 feet
- The Lap Pool - 3.5 to 8 feet

Red Cross certified lifeguards are stationed at each pool at all times.

All staff are trained and certified by the Red Cross in water safety instruction classes before the start of camp.
