Donating appreciated securities is an impactful way to support Renbrook. By giving stocks or other securities that have increased in value and been held for more than one year, you may reduce or eliminate capital gains taxes while also receiving a charitable income tax deduction. We encourage you to consult your tax or financial advisor for guidance specific to your situation.

If you hold investments that have decreased in value, you may benefit by first selling the stock to realize a capital loss and then donating the cash proceeds to Renbrook—potentially allowing for both a capital loss deduction and a charitable deduction.

Gifts-in-kind are non-cash donations of materials or assets that directly support and enhance Renbrook’s programs and campus. Examples include equipment, software, books, printed materials, or works of art. To learn more about the school’s Gift Acceptance Policy or to discuss a potential donation, please contact the Development Office.

Pledges to the Renbrook Fund may be fulfilled in one payment or in multiple payments by the conclusion of our fiscal year on June 30.
