Renbrook Chess Team Wins Fifth at State Championships

On March 4, 2023, the Renbrook Chess Team competed in the annual Team Championships of the Connecticut State Chess Association (CSCA). This was the fifth annual CSCA competition and was held at Manchester High School.

Renbrook Chess Team members Nadia Singh (Grade 4), and Deven Singh (Grade 2) placed fifth in the elementary section of the 2023 Connecticut State Scholastic Team Champions.

Additionally, on March 1, Renbrook competed in the a|C Chess Winter Clubs Townwide Tournament with a team of three: Nadia, Deven, and Jack Patten (Grade 5). Jack played in the upper section and placed as Renbrook School Champion.
