Richie Rodriguez became a member of Renbrook’s Building and Grounds team in 2025. In his role as Maintenance professional and Certified Pool Operator, Richie focuses on property maintenance, grounds upkeep, and pool operations, helping ensure that Renbrook’s campus remains safe, welcoming, and well cared for each day.
Richie brings significant experience to his position. He has worked in the construction of in-ground pools and spent the last 17 years as a maintenance technician, grounds professional, and Certified Pool Operator at a retirement community. His hands-on knowledge of facilities, building systems, and outdoor spaces allows him to approach every task with skill and reliability.
What Richie loves most about Renbrook is the amazing staff, the history of the school, and the beauty of the campus. He takes pride in contributing behind the scenes so that students, faculty, and families can enjoy a well-maintained environment.
Outside of work, Richie is a music and nature enthusiast. He enjoys playing guitar, trail bicycling, hiking, paddleboarding, working on cars, cooking and grilling, and attending live music and arts events. A beach and nature lover, he values time outdoors. He is one of six siblings, with family living in Florida and Texas, and he is especially proud to be the father of three amazing young adults.
His favorite quote, “Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, keep moving,” reflects his steady, forward-thinking approach to both life and work.
