Liz Oxsalida joined Renbrook in 2025 as Director of Renbrook PLUS, bringing more than two decades of experience in athletics, physical education, and enrichment programming in independent schools. She holds a BA in Health and Fitness with a minor in Nutrition from Purdue University and an MS in Education in Sport Administration from the University of Miami. She is a certified educator in Health for grades K–12 and maintains certifications in lifeguarding, first aid, CPR, AED, personal training, and youth fitness.
At Renbrook, Liz leads Renbrook PLUS, which includes Extended Day, Afternoon Adventure, Vacation Adventure, and Early Birds. She focuses on creating well-rounded programs that allow students to build confidence, strengthen social skills, explore new interests, and feel a strong sense of belonging. She believes some of the most meaningful learning happens beyond the traditional classroom, through play, movement, creativity, and connection.
Before coming to Renbrook, Liz worked at Trinity School in New York City as a Physical Education and Fitness Teacher and Coach. Prior to that, she spent over 15 years at Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart in Miami, serving as Associate Director of Athletics and M–12 Physical Education Discipline Chair. In those roles, she supervised coaches, managed athletic programming and logistics, developed curriculum, and helped design engaging after-school experiences for students across divisions.
Liz works in education because she believes schools should be places where students feel known, supported, and empowered to grow. She especially appreciates Renbrook’s close-knit community and shared commitment to the whole child. As a parent of a Junior Kindergarten student and spouse of an independent school educator, she values the partnership between school and family.
Outside of school, Liz enjoys staying active, spending time with her family, and tackling new challenges. She has completed three full Ironman races and more than eight Half Ironman competitions, a testament to her perseverance and passion for lifelong fitness.
