Laura McCaffrey

Laura McCaffrey joined Renbrook School in 2025 as Controller in the Business Office. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Bridgeport and an MBA from the University of Hartford.

With a strong background in nonprofit and educational finance, Laura brings decades of experience to her role. She previously served as Executive Director of the Education and Finance Department and Controller at St. Thomas Seminary within the Archdiocese of Hartford, where she led financial oversight and strategic planning efforts. She also served as Controller for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Hartford, managing complex financial systems in mission-driven organizations.

At Renbrook, Laura oversees the school’s financial operations, ensuring that systems are sound, transparent, and supportive of the school’s long-term goals. While her work centers on finances, she values being part of an educational environment where collaboration and community are at the heart of daily life.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys sailing, a hobby that reflects her appreciation for both focus and adventure.
