Kira Miskimmin joined Renbrook in 2017 and serves as Director of Strategic Engagement and Development Communications. As a member of the Alumni and Development team, she works at the intersection of storytelling, community building, and philanthropy, ensuring that the school’s mission and impact are clearly communicated and thoughtfully supported.
Kira holds a BA in English from Gannon University and an MA in Communications Studies from Edinboro University. Her background in language and communication informs her strategic approach to engagement, helping her craft initiatives and events that strengthen connections among students, families, alumni, and the broader Renbrook community.
She believes that young people are our future and that education must cultivate empathetic critical thinkers who center community while creating and problem-solving. In her work, Kira connects students with alumni mentors, leads engagement initiatives that foster belonging, and contributes to raising essential funds that make innovative programming possible.
Kira values the gifted, intelligent, and caring colleagues who make up the Renbrook community and sees her role as both a connector and advocate, helping to sustain the relationships and resources that allow students to thrive.
