Betsy Minton

Betsy brings with her over two decades of teaching and educational leadership experience, most recently serving as the Manager of Technology at Teaching Lab and the founder of her own instructional design and edtech consulting firm. Her dynamic work has included designing and delivering district-wide K–5 coding and robotics curricula, developing technology-integrated STEM programs, and creating engaging learning environments rooted in inquiry, joy, and accessibility. Betsy holds a master’s degree in Computing in Education from Columbia University’s Teachers College and dual bachelor’s degrees in Geology and Classical/Medieval Studies from Bates College. 

Betsy’s approach to teaching reflects Renbrook’s mission to place students at the center of their learning and to inspire curiosity, creativity, and character. From her early years as a kindergarten teacher to her leadership of design labs and robotics teams, she has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to fostering student voice, exploration, and perseverance. She is a recognized mentor to teachers, a passionate advocate for STEM education, and a champion of Responsive Classroom practices that cultivate belonging and joy.
