Drea Blenman

Junior Kindergarten Partner Teacher

Post University - A.S., Post University - B.S.

Since joining Renbrook in 2020, Drea Blenman has brought warmth, experience, and dedication to her role as a Junior Kindergarten teacher in the Beginning School. Working with four- and five-year-olds, she understands that these early years are among the most important in a child’s development. Drea holds a bachelor’s degree in Child Studies and an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Post University and is trained in First Aid and CPR.

Before becoming part of the Renbrook community, Drea spent 18 years teaching at Lollipop Preschool, where she developed deep expertise in early childhood education. She also worked for two years as a flight attendant with American Airlines, an experience that broadened her perspective and strengthened her ability to connect with people from all walks of life.

In her classroom, Drea focuses on supporting the whole child. She intentionally nurtures social and emotional growth, language and communication skills, fine and gross motor development, early literacy, and a sense of curiosity through hands-on exploration. She believes that children must feel safe, supported, and valued before they can fully embrace learning. By fostering independence, resilience, kindness, and empathy, she helps her students grow not only academically but also personally.

Drea works in education because she finds joy in watching young learners build confidence, try new things, and develop a lifelong love of learning. Making a positive difference in children’s lives inspires her each day. She is especially grateful for Renbrook’s warm, supportive community and its commitment to nurturing every aspect of a child’s development.

Outside of school, Drea enjoys traveling, reading, and watching mystery shows. She loves spending time with her dog and shares the lighthearted fun fact that she is afraid of cats. Inspired by her favorite book, The Bible, and the quote, “Don’t put off what you can do today for tomorrow,” she approaches both her life and her teaching with faith, purpose, and dedication
