Drop-off and Pick-up Info
Camp drop off and pickup will take place in the same location each day. Your family’s assigned location is based on the youngest camper in your household. Please refer to the map to find the correct traffic pattern and drop off/pickup area for your child’s group.
- Location A: Owls, Hawks, Eagles, Osprey 1-6
- Location B: Falcons 10-15
- Location C: Osprey 7-13
- Location D: Falcons 1-9 and half-day campers
Morning drop off runs from 8:30–9:00 a.m., and afternoon pickup runs from 3:30–4:00 p.m.
Parent pickup cards will be emailed prior to the first day of camp, and a printed copy will also be sent home with your camper on the first day. Please have your pickup card available during dismissal each day to help us ensure a safe and efficient pickup process.

Late Arrival and Early Pickup Instructions
If your camper will be arriving late to camp, please bring them directly to the camp office when you arrive. The camp office is located through the first door on the left off the main courtyard. We will get your camper signed in, collect their lunch if needed, and help them get settled with their group.
If your camper will need to leave early, it is extremely helpful if you can let us know ahead of time. Because of the size of our campus and the number of activities happening throughout the day, locating campers and gathering all of their belongings can take a bit of coordination. Please notify the camp office that morning by emailing camp@renbrook.org.
Please note that the latest early pickup we are able to accommodate is 2:00 PM. After that time, campers are in their final activity periods and our driveway begins filling with cars for regular dismissal, making later early pickups very difficult.
If you have any questions, please contact the camp office at 860-232-8410 or email camp@renbrook.org.
Special Events
This summer, we’ve reimagined our traditional Special Thursdays into larger session-long events that build excitement and camp spirit throughout each session. Here’s what campers can look forward to:
Session 1: Renbrook’s Got Talent
Throughout the session, each camp group will work together with their counselors to create a short performance, song, skit, or act to share with camp. Performances will take place on the big stage during lunch on the second Thursday of the session in a fun cabaret-style showcase.
Spirit Day (Thursday, June 25): Camper Shirt Day – Wear your camper shirt (this year’s or a previous summer’s) and show your RSSA pride!
Session 2: RSSA Olympics
During PE throughout the session, campers will compete in a variety of field game challenges to earn points for either Team Blue or Team White. The session will culminate on the second Thursday with a full camp red, white, and blue Olympics-style celebration where the winning team will be revealed.
Spirit Day (Thursday, July 9): Red, White & Blue Day – Dress in red, white, and blue to celebrate Olympic spirit!
Session 3: Camp Carnival
During the final week of camp, we’ll celebrate the summer with a full camp carnival featuring bounce houses, dunk tanks, carnival games, ice cream, and plenty of classic camp fun to close out an amazing summer together.
Spirit Day (Thursday, July 23): Tie-Dye Day – Wear something you’ve tie-dyed at camp or your favorite tie-dye gear!
We’re excited to bring these larger community events to camp this summer and cannot wait for campers to experience them.
