Trustee Scholar Jack Griffin

The Trustee Scholar Project is a student-initiated service-learning project designed to fulfill an identified need in the community while fostering personal growth and leadership for the Scholar. Trustee Scholar candidates work on their projects throughout the year and must maintain high academic and effort grades to earn their medals.

Students research their projects over the summer and make contact with organizations and mentors prior to the start of school. Students must log fifteen hours of work and keep a journal describing their experiences. Students with a desire to achieve this coveted and most meritorious distinction submit a proposal to the Board of Trustees. Once the project is completed, students give a final presentation about what they learned from the project both to the Board of Trustees and to the Upper School.

We continue featuring some of our Trustee Scholars here on our news channel. Today we feature Jack Griffin who worked with the organization Lasagna Love. Jack made and delivered lasagnas for families in need during the pandemic.
