Kathy Greene is a Lead Kindergarten Teacher in Renbrook’s Beginning School. A highly skilled early childhood educator and mentor, Kathy brings a passion for early years education and a commitment to life-long learning. She has a particular passion for reading instruction and hundreds of Renbrook students owe their strong decoding skills and passion for reading to Kathy’s expertise.
Kathy is originally from Virginia Beach and she earned her BS from James Madison University. She spent her early teaching years in New Orleans and then in Virginia at Cape Henry Collegiate School. Kathy has two grown sons, and she enjoys the outdoors. You might see her paddle boarding around the beaches of the Sound in her spare time.
