Jen Caswell
Assistant to the Head of School

Jennifer Caswell ’81 has been part of the fabric of Renbrook for more than four decades. After graduating as a member of the Class of 1981, she returned in 1986 to begin her professional career at the school she considers her home away from home. Today, she serves as Administrative Assistant to the Head of School, a role that places her at the center of the school’s daily operations and long-term planning.
Jen’s work ensures that Renbrook runs smoothly and efficiently across many areas. She serves as liaison to the Board of Trustees, supporting communication, meeting coordination, and governance processes. She oversees front desk operations, manages the school’s master calendar to keep schedules aligned and organized, and assists the Head of School with a broad range of administrative responsibilities. Her attention to detail and steady leadership help create a welcoming, organized environment where faculty can focus on teaching and students can focus on learning.
Her professional credentials include training in Blackbaud and Microsoft Office, CPR certification, and participation in numerous workshops and conferences through the CAIS Commission of Heads Assistants, NAIS Leadership Conference, and CAIS technology-focused programs. Beyond her day-to-day responsibilities, Jen serves on the Leadership Team and Emergency Team and contributes to major initiatives as a member of the AI Strategic Steering Committee and the 90th Anniversary Planning Committee. She also assists with editing the Renbrook Magazine, helping to share the school’s story with the broader community.
Although she is not in the classroom, Jennifer finds deep meaning in working in education. She treasures witnessing the growth of students from year to year and is continually inspired by the dedication and creativity of her colleagues. The relationships she has built with families and faculty over more than 40 years are among the things she values most. Renbrook has truly become her home away from home.
Guided by her favorite quote, “Proceed as if success is inevitable,” Jennifer approaches each day with optimism, professionalism, and a steadfast belief in the power of community. Outside of work, she enjoys puzzles that keep her mind active, listening to music across many genres, playing golf, reading, exploring fashion and art, exercising, and spending time outdoors walking, hiking, or biking.
