Jed Stuart joined Renbrook in 2021 as Director of Secondary School Guidance. He holds a BA from Hobart and William Smith Colleges and a Master of Education from George Washington University. He furthered his leadership development through the GCLI Leadership Lab Certificate program at the University of Pennsylvania.

Jed brings extensive experience in admissions and college guidance to his role. Prior to Renbrook, he worked in college guidance at The Frederick Gunn School and Loomis Chaffee, served as Director of Admissions at The Frederick Gunn School, and worked in admissions at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. His experience on both the secondary school and college sides of the process allows him to offer thoughtful, informed guidance to students and families as they consider their next steps.

At Renbrook, Jed partners closely with seventh and eighth-grade students and their families during the secondary school search and placement process. He also teaches Life, Learning, and Leadership, coaches squash and tennis, and supports a number of student clubs. He is passionate about helping young people recognize their strengths and find a school community where they can thrive.

Jed is energized by Renbrook’s people and strong sense of community. Outside of school, he enjoys time with his family, running, tennis, hiking, and spending time outdoors. He is also actively involved in Simsbury Youth Hockey as both a coach and board member.
