Donna DuPuis

Since 2013, Donna DuPuis has been the welcoming face of Renbrook as Front Desk Coordinator. For many students, families, and visitors, she is the first person they meet when they walk through the School’s doors. Her focus is simple but meaningful: to create a warm, supportive first point of contact and to assist everyone who comes through the front office with kindness and professionalism.

Donna brings nearly three decades of experience from Corporate America to her role at Renbrook. She began her career in 1980 at Hartford National Bank and worked through four corporate mergers over 29 years, including transitions to Connecticut National Bank, Shawmut Bank, Fleet Bank, and Bank of America. Along the way, she advanced from Customer Service Representative to Customer Service Supervisor, managing a call center team of 12, and later became Facility Manager, overseeing retail banking sites throughout Central and Eastern Connecticut. She managed annual budgets and technical staff, building strong leadership and organizational skills.

In 2013, Donna made the transition to education, a change she describes as both refreshing and deeply rewarding. She loves the daily interaction with parents, students, and colleagues, and values the sense of community that makes Renbrook feel like family. She especially enjoys spending time with younger students who gather in Gray Hall for early pick up, taking the opportunity to talk, listen, and get to know them. She works intentionally to build relationships, so students feel safe, confident, and comfortable coming to her with questions or concerns.

Donna previously supported the Before Care Program and has assisted the Development Office with special projects, reflecting her willingness to help wherever needed. Outside of school, she enjoys watching classic black and white films, listening to 1970s music and opera, and dancing. She speaks English and French.

A fun personal connection she shares is that her sister, Diane Venora, is a stage and film actress, and Donna once met Al Pacino on the set of the 1995 film Heat. She describes him as warm and engaging during their conversation.

Guided by the words, “Never, never, never give up,” Donna approaches her work and life with resilience and heart, helping make Renbrook a welcoming place for all.
