Admission

Affording Renbrook

The greatest gift a parent can give a child is an outstanding education where character development and academics are equally important.
One Wise Decision, Infinite Possibilities...

At Renbrook School, we believe that our campus is enriched by the diversity of our families. The talents, personalities, varying interests, and unique backgrounds of our students coming together are what make Renbrook an engaging and vibrant educational experience.

We are dedicated to providing a Renbrook education to families who qualify for need-based financial aid. Our financial aid budget allows for awards that range from 10% - 70% of tuition to help make a Renbrook education possible. In addition, our merit scholarship program is open to students entering fifth or sixth grade.

I hope you will continue to explore Renbrook School for your child, and I encourage you to reach out with any questions about the admission process, financial aid, or other ways that we can help make a Renbrook education affordable for your family. I hope to meet you soon!

Sincerely,
Amy Samenuk

TESTIMONIALS

"My two children are very different from each other; one is very extroverted and confident and the other is shy. The teachers are invested in them and have helped our oldest discover new interests. Our youngest now walks confidently into the building with a great sense of ownership and looks forward to greeting everyone when he arrives. We could not be happier with our experience here!"

Preschool & Kindergarten Parent

"There's a foundation here that really builds trust, confidence, strong relationships, and great academics. But it's beyond that at Renbrook. It's the colleges they go to and what their whole future looks like."
Bloomfield Mom

"The foundation I built at Renbrook, especially in writing and research skills, has helped me tremendously in secondary school, college, graduate school, and in my career."

FINANCIAL AID

Financial aid strengthens the economic and social diversity of the school, which is key to Renbrook's mission. We wish to help academically qualified students attend the school whenever possible. Financial aid is awarded on the basis of a family's need for tuition support and the availability of financial aid funds. Each year, about 30% of our students receive some level of financial support. Awards range from 10% to 70% of tuition.

Applying for Financial Aid

List of 3 items.

  • Step 1: Application

Families must first complete an application to Renbrook School by the stated deadlines.
  • Step 2: Parents' Financial Statement (PFS)

Families must complete the Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) and submit it electronically to School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) with the required fee. The form is available as of November 1. The PFS must be completed and submitted by December 31 for current families receiving a grant, and by February 15 for first-time applications to be considered in our first round of financial awards.
Financial assistance is available after the first round of awards but the earlier you apply and complete your SSS application the more likely aid will be available.
After you have submitted your PFS to School and Student Service for Financial Aid, the SSS office will send Renbrook an electronic computation of your financial need, based on the information you have provided. Renbrook uses this computation as a basis for consideration. Parents will also have access to the computation from SSS.

  • Step 3: Income Tax Form

In addition to completing your PFS, you need to upload a copy of your Income Tax Form #1040 (including all supporting schedules) and a copy of your W2/1099 Form(s) for the current tax year to your SSS account by February 28. If you own a business, please provide a copy of your business tax return.
Please note that these documents are required for consideration by the school’s Financial Aid Committee. In the case of divorce, Renbrook expects that both legal parents will contribute to the cost of their child(ren)’s education to the extent of their ability. Custodial and non-custodial parents must complete PFS forms and send these to SSS; both must also submit tax forms and W2s as required.
