What's the Renbrook Connection?

A word from Joe Calafiore, VP of Marketing & Strategic Initiatives for Hartford Athletic and a Renbrook alum Class of 2005

"The Renbrook connection with Hartford Athletic runs deep, and I feel so fortunate to be part of the Renbrook community. I attended Renbrook from the threes through 9th grade -- as did my younger brother David --- and my parents (part-owners of Hartford Athletic) actively participated in many ways over 20 years including serving on the Board of Trustee and Parent Association. Renbrook is such a special place to me and my family, and I attribute my love for learning and the skills I learned inside and outside of the classroom as a key driver in preparing me for the challenges and opportunities that I faced in high school and college and continue to face throughout my career."
"After graduating from Renbrook in 2005, I attended the Loomis Chaffee School ('08) followed by Georgetown University ('12). To this day, I owe Renbrook for some of my best memories and best friends. The most special part of Renbrook is undoubtedly the teachers and coaches who are so devoted, and I honestly can point to every single one of them as having made a major impact on my life. To Mrs. Shipp; the Cramphins, Ladds, and Madores; Coaches Irving, Reynolds, and Scherer; Ms. Rago, Oaks, Arel, O'Brien, Peters, Smith, Flynn, Lavendier, Hathaway, Henkel, Michailow, Ayres, Clark, Silk, Belinkie, Robinson, Walkowitz, Washer; Mr. Donahue, Herd, Blodgett, Acharya, Desisto, Nixon, Kayiatos, Ford -- and of course Chef Joe Zoni:  thank you for all that you did for me and so many other students!"
