Tuition and Fees 2017-18
Renbrook School Offers Three Options for Paying Tuition
To help manage educational expenses, Renbrook is also pleased to offer a payment plan that allows you to spread educational expenses over the course of the school year through monthly installments; your only cost is a modest enrollment fee. This option is popular because it provides families with greater flexibility and control over their savings, but it requires starting payment in May. Go directly to the website for information. Families now enroll electronically. We encourage you to take advantage of the convenient payment plan by April 1.

Financial aid strengthens the economic and social diversity of the school, which is key to Renbrook's mission. We wish to help academically qualified students attend the school regardless of their families’ resources. Each year about 26% of our students receive some level of financial support. Financial aid is awarded on the basis of a family's need for tuition support and the availability of financial aid funds.
Applying for Financial Aid
Families who wish to apply for financial aid should follow the steps outlined below. Financial aid requests must be received by February 15 to be considered in our first round of awards. Since our financial aid budget is not unlimited, we suggest applying as early in the school year as possible.
Families must first complete an application to Renbrook School by the stated deadlines.
Families must complete the Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) and submit it electronically to School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) with the required fee. The form is available as of November 1. The PFS must be completed and submitted by December 31 for current families receiving a grant, and by February 15 for first-time applications to be considered in our first round of financial awards.
Financial assistance is available after the first round of awards but the earlier you apply and complete your SSS application the more likely aid will be available.
After you have submitted your PFS to School & Student Service for Financial Aid, the SSS office will send Renbrook an electronic computation of your financial need, based on the information you have provided. Renbrook uses this computation as a basis for consideration. Parents will also have access to the computation from SSS.
In addition to completing your PFS, you need to send SSS a copy of your Income Tax Form #1040 (including all supporting schedules) and a copy of your W2/1099 Form(s) for the current tax year by February 15. If you own a business, please provide a copy of your business tax return.
Please note that these documents are required for consideration by the school’s Financial Aid Committee.
In the case of divorce, Renbrook expects that both legal parents will contribute to the cost of their child(ren)’s education to the extent of their ability. Custodial and non-custodial parents must complete PFS forms and send these to SSS; both must also submit tax forms and W2s as required.
Confidentiality and Notification: All information received by Renbrook School is held in strictest confidence. The Financial Aid Committee will notify families of its determination before requiring them to return an enrollment contract.
