Welcome to the 2011/2012 school year and welcome to the online handbook. In these electronic pages you will find the information you need for the year ahead including whom to contact if you cannot find just what you need! I hope it will prove useful to you.

     In the year ahead our students will grow and learn in ways both expected and unpredictable. Regardless of the specific details, being at Renbrook will make a difference in their lives as it has for generations of students. I have spoken to many of our alumnae/i who say Renbrook made the difference in their lives.  In the  words of one alumnus, Renbrook was “the fulcrum upon which my life turned.”

     As it has always been, Renbrook is a school where great teachers provide children with an outstanding education and is also a community in which those children are raised up to be good and moral people.  Children are challenged to work hard and do their best in the classroom and are taught how to be empathetic and thoughtful human beings. Florence Greene, our long serving founder and head, once said, “Let us teach our children to express friendliness rather than criticism.” We will teach this lesson and many others in the year ahead.
