 | |  | The Freshman Year is a unique program of academic excellence & leadership opportunities.
- Academic Advancement through a rigorous curriculum in physics, world languages, mathematics, English, history & the arts, strengthened by the interscholastic sports program.
- Core-Program Experiences with hands-on projects in Service, Yearbook, the Buddy Program, the Speaker Series & the Freshman Activities Committees. Students also develop Elective Courses & a Speaker Series on topics that range from the New York Art Scene to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
- The Trustee Scholars Program recognizes students whose academic achievements are enriched by service on campus and beyond. To be named a Trustee Scholar, students must maintain a 3.2 or more average, earn Effort Honor Roll recognition, and volunteer their time on and off campus.
