Bringing History to Life

On May 16, Renbrook School's Williams field was transformed into a Civil War encampment. Eighth graders built campfires, marched in precision drills, and learned to play the harmonica. Students took on the persona of a soldier, putting up tents, writing letters home, cooking authentic food, and learning how to bandage their wounded comrades.
